TrumpetFest
Each summer, Orvieto Musica welcomes distinguished trumpet artist–teachers from around the world to join our celebrated faculty. Spend a week in Orvieto’s Historic Center—coaching talented young musicians, performing in unforgettable settings, and sharing your artistry in masterclasses and workshops.
Whether you bring your university or conservatory studio, or join us as an individual faculty member, your residency will be enriched by Orvieto’s vibrant culture, world-class chamber music, and the festival’s signature spirit of collaboration. Between rehearsals and performances, savor daily Italian meals, explore medieval streets, and relax into the rhythms of Umbrian life—all while making an enduring impact on the next generation of brass players.
What’s Included?
Apartment in Orvieto
Enjoy a private apartment in Orvieto’s Historic Center—steps away from festival venues, cafés, and landmarks. Housing is priced per person in accordance with Italian accommodation practices.
Transportation
Group airport pickup from Rome Fiumicino (FCO) on the designated arrival date.
Local Dining
Begin each day with breakfast at Caffè del Corso, and enjoy four included main meals during your residency at select local restaurants, complemented by shared meals with festival participants and faculty.
Lake Bolsena
Join us for the annual excursion to Lake Bolsena—Europe’s largest volcanic lake. Spend the day relaxing by the water, exploring the charming lakeside town, wandering through its historic catacombs, and visiting the site of the famed Bolsena Miracle, all while savoring the region’s distinctive cuisine.
Faculty Engagement
Lead masterclasses and workshops, perform alongside festival faculty and guest artists, and work closely with students in a collaborative environment.
Please note that airfare, personal travel expenses, and return transportation from Orvieto to FCO are not included in the package. Pricing is guaranteed through March 1, 2026; later registrations may be subject to surcharge.
Guest Faculty Fees
Guest Faculty enjoy a prorated fee based on the number of students joining them:
5+ Students: $600
1–4 Students: $750
No Students: $1000
Bring A Guest
Faculty may be joined by partners, children, or family friends for their residency in Orvieto. TrumpetFest guests enjoy all the perks of festival guests, including:
- Housing in Orvieto’s Historic Center
- Daily breakfast at Caffè del Corso and one main meal daily
- Transportation from FCO to Orvieto on the designated arrival date
- Trip to Lake Bolsena

If you plan to be joined by a partner, children, or family friends, please complete a Guest Registration Form for each individual. Additional fees apply for guests requiring private accommodations.
Step 3: Pay Your Fees
Due by Sunday, March 1, 2026
Use the links above to pay securely by credit or debit card. A small processing fee will be added to cover transaction costs.
To avoid paying these processing fees, you are welcome to pay by check. Checks should be made payable to Orvieto Musica and mailed to: Orvieto Musica, Inc., 144 Frankford Ct, Lubbock, TX 79416, USA. Please email admin@orvietomusica.org to let us know once your check has been mailed.
