Although I have collaborated with singers and instrumentalists for many years in academic environments, Orvieto Musica changed the way I see myself as an artist. I was not treated as an accompanist. I was recognized as a true collaborative partner, and the faculty engaged with me on that level from the very first day.
Working with world-class teachers across collaborative piano, strings, and voice provided direct, practical guidance that reshaped how I approach repertoire, rehearsal, and musical communication. In just three weeks, I explored French Chanson, Italian Art Song, German Lied, English and American Art Song, and a project that was deeply meaningful to me, Brahms’s Second Violin Sonata.
The experience allowed me to grow in ways that had never been possible within academic settings. For the first time in years, I felt fulfilled as an artist.
