2018 was a banner year for Orvieto Musica, Inc. as we celebrated the festival’s 25th Anniversary. Over seventy friends of OM, Board members, faculty, alumni, participants and family members gathered in Orvieto for a week in which the musicians presented six concerts in six venues in six days. We celebrated the city with a Progressive Concert at dusk during which our audience was invited to walk from plaza to plaza to hear chamber groups sing and play. And as the culmination of the celebration, we appeared in our first ever concert in the Duomo, with the entire Orvieto Musica 2018 festival presenting the world premiere of Hodie Canamus, composed by OM founder Douglas Hedwig.
